I think online dating is sometimes a bit desperate. No offense, but I think people are totally different when they're online, so the best way to know someone is by already seeing them in person. People make a lot of aliases and most of the time are not who they appear to be online. But hey, whatever works for you.

I haven't read the manga myself. But there is much to say of the anime. At first, the artwork was a little awkward to watch (for me), but then i have grown accustomed to it. It is a really great anime with nicely done animations.

the death penalty in california shoudl be thoroughly looked into in each and every case. California, like the other states, have some crimes that one could simply say "man kill the dude for it" or something... you know if the death penalty was abolished in california, there goes our taxes, and trust me... I don't think I wanna work at my job but really only paying to support the "jails" for guys that didn't get the death penalty because it was abolished.

The more and more we restrict them... the more and more they will want to do what it is that they cannot. The internet can be a very dangerous place, however, that is why we have parents that KNOW how to discipline their children correctly. If there should be any monitoring, only monitoring of how long one may stay on the internet. Too much of something is always bad anyways. So in that, time limits should be accounted for that way, these "children" won't be so addicted, thus helping to produce a life outside cyberspace, which it should always be.

As the thread asks... do you ever feel like you were born in the wrong time? Like, maybe you fit better back in the medieval times where knights did a king's bidding? Or a time where everything was starting to be invented for a new world?

At instances I feel like maybe I should've been taught under the time where Chinese Kung Fu was the prowess of the world... or when the samurai's swordplay was always the way of the people in Japan... I know it's silly isn't it? hehe

well to stop this isolation... don't dedicate your life solely to anime... for example, your friends invite you to go hang out or go eat... but you reply "oh i can't go" because you say to yourself... I already have food at home... or I already have my entertainment... well of course others may see anime as dumb.... but remember if you can tolerate others interest in whatever they do, like drawing, collecting, fixing computers etc... then you should say that if they are true friends they would accept that part of you... just remember to make sure anime doesn't run most of your life... that's the way you set up yourself for isolation
